Description of product
Farmaction.
Contraceptive drug. Inhibits secretion of pituitary gonadotropin-releasing hormone. The contraceptive effect is due to the influence on the hypothalamic-pituitary-ovarian system. Ethinylestradiol - a synthetic analogue of the follicular hormone estradiol is involved with progesterone in the implementation of the menstrual cycle. Progestogenic drug (desogestrel) inhibits the synthesis of LH and FSH by the pituitary gland (to prevent maturation of the follicle) and thus blocks ovulation. In addition to these central and peripheral mechanisms of preventing the maturation able to fertilize the egg, contraceptive effect is due to decrease in the susceptibility of the endometrium to blastocyst and increasing the viscosity of mucus, located in the cervix, making it relatively impenetrable to sperm. Has beneficial effects on lipid metabolism: it increases the concentration of HDL in plasma, without affecting the content of LDL. The treatment showed a significant decrease in the amount of blood lost (during the initial menorrhagia). Has a beneficial effect on the skin, especially improving its status in the vulgar acne, when taken regularly and has a therapeutic effect by normalizing the menstrual cycle and contributing to the prevention of a number of gynecological diseases, including neoplastic nature.
